After posting yesterday, I played around with running Android apps on my Chromebook last night. To minimize the glitches, I found that not changing the configuration of the Chromebook after launching the app runs the app the best. What do I mean by that? I mean, don’t flip the screen around or rotate the screen after launching the app. Put the Flip in the orientation you want to use the app, then launch the app. I was able to run Plants vs Zombies 2 in full screen if I flipped the screen and held the Chromebook in landscape before launching Plants vs Zombies 2.
These are just a few of the glitches that is to be expected with running the developer version of Chrome OS. This will be a game changer this fall when school starts up again (well, it will be for us once Android on Chromebooks is supported on the Dell Chromebook 11).
