Through grassroots “unconferences” like Edcamps, online forums like #edchat and informal Facebook groups, teachers are taking professional learning into their own hands.

Sometimes it helps to get an outside perspective on problems you are facing in the classroom, or you may need an idea on how to approach introducing a subject. Creating and maintaining a personal learning network is a great way to support yourself or offer support to others.
