Google is removing the Youtube video editor and Slideshow maker

YouTube is getting rid of its video editor and photo slideshows due to lack of use, the company announced yesterday. The changes won’t happen until September 20th, so if you still rely on YouTube to edit your videos, you’ll have a bit of time before you have to find a new service.

They are also getting rid of the slideshow tool available in Youtube. This is bad news for districts that relied on these two tools to create multimedia with Chromebooks. Hopefully Google will have another solution in place.
