Help students with Dyslexia with the Chrome OpenDyslexic Font extension

Help students with Dyslexia with the Chrome OpenDyslexic Font extension.

This extension switches the fonts used on websites to the OpenDyslexic Font, a font designed to help people with dyslexia. Once installed, there is a switch to turn it off or on.

In my testing it was hit or miss on whether the website would show the OpenDyslexic Font. For example, on CNN the titles and subheadings were changed, but unfortunately, the body text was not.

Another option is to change the default fonts in Google Chrome.

This may have a better chance of succeeding if there is a website you want to use. That being said, there isn’t a way for an extension or font to change text that is embedded in graphics or used in animations.
