Duolingo is known for it’s line of language learning apps, and now they are getting into the learning to read arena. Due to the numerous school closures, Duolingo is making the reading app available early.

The app has no ads or in-app purchases and is free to download. It also works offline, so kids with iPads will be able to use the app without an internet connection. Duolingo ABC has over 300 lessons for kids ages 3-6 on the alphabet, phonics, and sight words.

Although the app is iOS only at this point, the company plans to bring Duolingo ABC to Android in the future.
