This reminds be a lot about the paradox of choice, where the more options you have, the less satisfied you are with your final decision. By setting limits, you’re forced to be a lot more creative. The movie Deadpool came out this summer, and went on to be the highest grossing rated R movie of all time. The secret of its success? Besides the rugged good looks or Ryan Reynolds, it had a very modest budget. Where most super hero movies get $150-200 million dollars, Deadpool had $58 million, which forced a tight script and cut down on the special effects, and still made a great movie (especially when you see how terrible Batman Vs. Superman was).
