Note taking with Google Keep
The app usually discussed with notetaking is Evernote, but Google has a contender with Google Keep.
Each note takes on the form of a post-it looking note. Formatting is pretty limited, with a few font formatting options and the ability to include pictures.
Instead of being only for text, a note can also be a checklist.
Notes can be shared with other users or converted to a Google Doc. Once a note has fulfulled its duty, it can be archived for safe keeping. Each note is automatically synced and backed up to Google.
Google offers a web app, Chrome app, Android and iOS, so your platform of choice should be covered.
Although Google Keep doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles of Evernote (the biggest missing feature is the lack of optical character recognition for pictures), it is no slouch in the notetaking department.
