Gif Lingua offers illustrated books online, with a twist. The illustrations are usually animated gifs and the books can be accompanied by a computerized voice reading the book to you.
Grade levels for the books are approximate 1-3, although the subject matter may be a little advanced for the read level. For example, the current events book I read reported about the Rosanne firing over her racist tweets, which could need further explaining by the teacher.
There are quizzes available for the books, and at the paid levels, printables, downloadables, and the ability to create books.
