Share large files with a class using Instant.io.

Instant.io is a free website designed to make it easy to share large files. If you are a Google or Microsoft school, you could use Google Drive or OneDrive to share large files, but Instant.io is a different use case.

Using Bittorrent technology, Instant.io uses each machine to help distribute the file, so instead of a classroom of 24 laptops all downloading from the internet at once, Instant.io allows each laptop to get pieces of the file from other laptops in the swarm speeding up the transfer.

No additional software is needed to use Instant.io, but the computer sharing the file must be on and active.

This would be a great way to distribute large files to a class, especially if you have limited internet access.
