The SAS Writing Reviser is a suite of tools to help you or your students identify weaknesses in their writing. Unlike conventional grammar checkers, SAS Writing Reviser has the user select the component of writing, such as passive voice, in the writing to be analyzed.

Users of SAS Writing Reviser have a lot of tools at their disposal, including statistics on words, sentence length, and writing problems. This would be a good tool to use after the first or second draft is completed.

Since the user has to select what they want analyzed, this could help the user identify issues with their writing in the future.

I especially like the cliche and jargon analyzer, I’m going to use it in the future to help my writing have more help and less technical words.
