Help low-vision readers by using the free Atkinson Hyperlegible font

Atkinson Hyperlegible font is named after Braille Institute founder, J. Robert Atkinson.  What makes it different from traditional typography design is that it focuses on letterform distinction to increase character recognition, ultimately improving readability.  We are making it free for anyone to use, download here!

I’ve mentioned the importance of choosing fonts for legibility, and here’s another font to put in your toolbox. Unfortunately, it’s not available on the web for use in apps such as Google Docs, but it is available as a free download and can be used on any app that lets you use your system fonts or upload a font. For example, Adobe Spark allows you to upload fonts to use.
