Kid Pix is back – and it’s in your browser

Kid Pix was THE drawing program for students in the 90s & 00s, but has been left to the wayside with the rise of browser based apps. Well, it is now time for Kid Pix to rise with a new web based version.

JS Kid Pix is Kid Pix recreated with Javascript and useable in the browser. I believe most of the tools are available, I didn’t see any obvious missing tools, and it’s just fun to use. I especially like the stamp tool.

When your creation is finished, you can use the disk icon in the upper left to download the masterpiece as a .png file, suitable for placement in your favorite word processor or presentation app.
