Being a lifelong beginner

We are all lifelong beginners. We need to redefine the word as one that empowers people and not undermines or reduces their contribution.

For a couple of years after college I worked in the private sector. It was pretty weird not having a beginning (August) and an ending (June) every year. Sure, the non-school world tries to fake it with New Years Eve/Day, but it’s not the same as the end of school year and then the start of another school year.

The article reminded me of those days, where being a lifelong beginner was tougher for me without the beginning and ending demarcation. Every day we have a chance to learn something new. Start your journey.
