Scratch Blocks brings together two different programming “grammars” that we have designed over the past decade. The standard Scratch grammar uses blocks that snap together vertically, much like LEGO bricks. I love the accessibility of Scratch, and what students can get from it. Google support will be able to push it even further! I’m hoping Scratch will drop its reliance on Flash and move toward something more open, such as HTML5.
