Web Maker is a great playground for web developers.

If you teach web design, then you’ll want to check out Web Maker. It’s a tool that you or students can use to learn html, css, and javascript, by showing the results of changes in real time.

Web Maker is an offline app for Google Chrome. Launching the app creates a blank slate onto which html, javascript and css can be written. The results show up immediately on the right side. It allows the easy importation of popular css and javascript libraries.

When a creation is finished, you can take a screen shot and save the work you’ve done.
