Google Search date range shortcut extension for Google Chrome

If you use the search by time feature in Google search, then do I have an extension for you! The Google Search date range shortcut extension allows you to add your own custom search ranges to the Google Search Date tool.

After installing the extension, you can select the extension and add your own custom search dates. In the example above I added the Past 3 years (the extension by default adds the past 3, 6, and 18 months by default).

I use the search by date to help narrow down search results. It comes in really handy if the default search is favoring older information but you want to make sure you have the newest.
