Feedly is my first recommendation for people that want to use RSS to manage their news resources. I’m an ardent user of RSS and I still don’t understand why Google cancelled Google Reader.
For the free level of Feedly you can now only subscribe to a max of 100 feeds (or sites). This is probably enough for new users, and is an easy way to get started with reading RSS feeds.
