Use the Send from Gmail Google Chrome Extension to share the current page through email.

Sending a link to the current page would seem to be a very useful feature, but it’s not built in to Google Chrome. That’s where the Send from Gmail extension comes in.

Once you add the extension to Chrome, there is a new icon in your toolbar. Clicking on the Send from Gmail toolbar icon will open a Gmail compose window with a link to the current page in the message body and the subject set to the page title.

If you highlight any text on the page before clicking the icon, that text will also be included in the message body.
